Chaudhary & Associates, Inc. has been providing engineering, surveying, and construction support
services on the Lennar Redevelopment Project at Mare Island for the past 6 years. This 650 acre
redevelopment, a Naval Base Realignment And Closure(BRAC) project, includes over 1400 housing
units and 6.5M square feet of commercial and industrial facilities.
Our services have included photogrammetric and control surveys, subdivision design and the
preparation of grading and drainage plans. Overall, hydrology analysis and hydraulics master plan, extensive sewer system rehabilitation, water system upgrades and street improvements were required to upgrade the aging infrastructure for today's needs. Capital improvement management and construction support are an integral part of our services.
| Chaudhary &Associates, as part of the Lennar Redevelopment Team, prepared plans for phasing of grant-funded improvements, is providing on going coordination with the environmental cleanup contractor and geotechnical consultants, and monitors fill settlement. |
